My Favorite Makeup Products for 2014!

Hello Everyone!

Today I am going to show you some of my favorite makeup products for 2014. Let's get started...

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser- This product is AMAZING! It does exactly what it is supposed to do and it makes my skin feel soft. This product works best when applied before any foundation or powder. It can be purchased at drugstores, Target, and Walmart. This product really does make a difference!

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream- I am not a huge fan of foundation, so on days when powder is not enough I love to use this BB cream. It is a light coverage which I enjoy because I like a natural look. On days I just use powder, I use the BB cream as my eye primer and for under my eyes. This product will crease if you don't set it with powder. So if you are like me and not a huge fan of foundation this is a great alternative.

Can be purchased from Sephora

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer- This concealer is a life changer! This was my go-to throughout high school, and it still is. The coverage is great and it last all day. It is very rare I would have to re-apply to any blemishes or dark spots. I have not found another concealer I like as much as this one.

Can be purchased from Sephora, or any department stores that carry Estee Lauder.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara- My lashes looked so long and glamorous after applying only one coat. For those who don't like their lashes to seem clumpy, this might not be the mascara for you, but it does takes some getting used to. What I love about this mascara is that it makes my eyes look more open and awake. Once this bad boy is done I will be back into Sephora to buy a new one!

Can be purchased from Sephora or Ulta

Mac Dainty Blush- Words can not describe how beautiful this blush is. It is perfect for creating soft, rosy cheeks. It has a little bit of shimmer in it, but just enough so that when you add a highlight to your cheek bones that your face does not look too shiny. This blush is not too bright but it is easy to build up the color.

Can be purchased from any department stores that carry Mac Cosmetics.

Laura Mercier Highlight 01- 2014 was a big year for highlighting. As soon as I saw this highlighter I knew I needed it in my life. It gives me a beautiful healthy glow and is perfect for all year round. It is perfect to give my skin a dewy look in the summer, and in the winter a radiant glow.

Can be purchased from Sephora or any department stores that carry Laura Mercier.

Listed from top to bottom:

L'Oréal Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte-  L'Oréal did such an amazing job with the formulas of the infallible eyeshadows. They are affordable, pigmented, creamy, smooth, easy to apply, and easy to blend. I absolutely love the shade Iced Latte because it is versatile and compliments the eyes well. This shadow was definitely my go to for 2014.

Can be purchased from drugstores, Target, and Walmart.

E.l.f Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow- I love this warm tone golden shadow. It is great when doing neutral eye looks, or to add on top of a shadow to accent the eyes a little more. The best part is this eyeshadow cost 3 DOLLARS!!

Can be purchased from Target or drugstores.

Mac Pigment in Copper Sparkle- I do not know where to begin with this shadow. It is soooo pigmented and gorgeous. This copper color can be used for a nice smokey eye. A little goes a  long way with this shadow. I have had this pigment for a while and it still looks like I haven't made a dent in it yet. This copper color will really make blue and green eyes pop!

Can be purchased from any department stores that carry Mac Cosmetics.

NYX Love in Paris Palette- This palette has seen a lot of love. It has perfect warm tone colors for creating a smokey eye and for transition colors in the crease. This palette is very affordable and the shadows can easily be blended.

Can be purchased from Target or Ulta

Listed from top to bottom:

L'Oréal Silkissime Eyeliner in Colbalt Blue- Whenever I feel bold I always use a blue liner. This cobalt blue is perfect for making brown eyes pop. The liner is smooth and easy to apply. GO BOLD!

Can be purchased from Target or drugstores.

Chanel #88 Waterproof Eyeliner- This is the most intense black liner that I own. I love how easy it is to use and can sometimes give a smudged out look which I like.

Can be purchased from any department store that sells Chanel Cosmetics.

Mac Eyeliner in Coffee- This brown eyeliner is great for all eye colors. It can easily be built up to the color intensity desired depending on if I wanted a dark intense look or a light brown accent.

Can be purchased from any department store that sells Mac Cosmetics.

Listed from top to bottom:

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in 020- Rio Rush- This vibrant pink is perfect for all year long! What is unique is that it applies glossy but after a little while will dry into a stain.

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in 025- Cannes Crush- I love a coral lip and this color passed the test. Like the previous shade, it applies glossy and dries into a stain. I did notice that this product does not last all day so some reapplying may be needed.

Can be purchased from Target, Walmart, or any drugstores.

I tend to go for glosses more than lipsticks, so I do not have a current favorite lipstick. I hope you enjoyed viewing some of the products I loved and used throughout the year of 2014. If you have some products that you use and think I should try, leave a comment below.  Have a wonderful week!

Thank You Boys

One of my favorite looks that were brought back throughout 2014 has been the incorporation of men's wear into woman's fashion and everyday looks.
I would prefer to wear a pant suit tailored to my body over a fancy dress. There is just something about the way suits look and fit that can make a woman look sexy, chic, glamorous, serious, and intelligent. People always say "less is more," and when it comes to tailored suits, I think they are right. Simple can make a huge statement. The concept of taking pieces to resemble men's clothing is great! It makes for a more versatile wardrobe.

This past year a lot of female celebrities have worn suits to the red carpet looking stunning and chic. So why can't you and I do the same?

New Year, New Me

Hello Everyone! As this is my first blog post, it is only fitting I give you a quick introduction to who I am. My name is Jada, as you probably guessed from the name of this blog. Some things that make me happy are reading, dogs, and volleyball, but most of all I LOVE FASHION and BEAUTY. There I said it. That is all you need to know.

As 2015 has quickly moved in, I made a list of intentions for this year. One of those intentions is to create my own fashion blog. I know I am not perfect and this blog for the the most part will not be perfect, but everything in life is a learning process and growth is really the only option.

I hope that you all will enjoy! Happy New Year, Happy New YOU!
